Partners / Butterfly
Nmonic for Butterfly Security customers.
You're here because Butterfly pointed you at us. Butterfly is Okta disaster recovery — the layer your IdP doesn't have. Nmonic is the on-device meeting copilot Butterfly's channel uses on Okta recovery calls: it listens, surfaces recovery-first talking points from your own prep, and captures every commitment with an owner and a deadline. Butterfly recommends Nmonic to its customers and partners because it makes the conversation about recovery easier to have, and because we fund the copilot ourselves so it's free to anyone with a verified Butterfly-domain email.
If you work on a verified Butterfly domain — employee, channel partner, or customer team — managed Nmonic is free. No API keys, no monthly bill, no per-seat purchase order. Same posture as the consumer product. We meter it, we cap it, we attribute every minute to your org.
i. What you get as a Butterfly customer
- → Managed copilot. We provide the transcription (Deepgram) and the LLM (Anthropic). You install the macOS app, sign in, you're live.
- → No API keys to manage. No Deepgram account, no Anthropic billing, no rotation runbook. The relay holds the keys and meters the spend.
- → No monthly bill. The free tier for verified partner domains is the full managed tier. Not a trial, not a teaser.
- → Domain-verified, attributed, capped. Every token is bound to a Butterfly domain. Per-token caps on minutes and tokens. A cheap-model allowlist. A kill switch. The economics work because the rails are tight.
ii. Activate
There's no signup form. Activation is one email and a click. Honest about the manual step — that's the current state of the program.
@butterflysecurity.com address (or your verified Butterfly partner address). One line about who you are is enough.
nmonic://redeem?token=… link. Usually same day.
iii. Security
If you're reading this through a Butterfly lens, you already care about IdP recovery, blast radius, and how a vendor handles a secret. The reason Butterfly is comfortable pointing customers at us is that the answers here are short ones.
Audio and transcripts live on the user's Mac. The relay is memory-only. Tokens are device-bound in the Keychain. The auth surface was adversarially audited on 2026-06-15. Read the documents and decide for yourself.
iv. Questions
For anything that isn't security — pricing, scope, what we'll build next, whether a particular workflow fits — the same address works.
Real reply, from a human, same day. No drip campaigns, no MQL scoring.
