What are you trying to get done?

First time opening it

  1. Open the downloaded Nmonic.dmg and drag Nmonic into your Applications folder.
  2. The first launch only: Control-click (or right-click) Nmonic in Applications → Open → Open. macOS may say it "can't verify the developer" — that's expected for now, and Open gets you through it. After this once, it launches normally.
  3. Nmonic will ask for Microphone and Screen Recording permission so it can hear and see your meeting. Click Allow — you can change these anytime in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Why the extra click? The app isn't notarized by Apple yet, so Gatekeeper asks you to confirm the first launch. Nothing's wrong with the download — that's just the unsigned-app flow.
